Title 2
Background
Dictation passages in government exams keep returning to the same family of formal words. Learn these ten, write each one three times, and you will meet them again soon.
The ten words
Allocation, authority, compliance, consultation, directive, implementation, jurisdiction, mandate, procurement and sanction. Each one appears often in official letters, notings and minutes.
How to practise them
Say the word aloud, write its outline, then write one short sentence of your own. Check the spelling against the list the next morning.
Why these words matter
They carry legal weight, so a wrong spelling or a missed ending changes the meaning of a sentence. Accuracy here is worth more than speed.
